Easter Egg Hunt
We took Rileigh to her first Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. Our homeowner's association had one for the neighborhood which was very nice. Rileigh wasn't quite sure what was going on at first, but once she realized there were eggs involved, she started to enjoy herself. She even enjoyed eating the jelly beans once the hunt was over.
The Laundry Basket
Rileigh has decided that the laundry basket is a fun thing to play with. She will climb inside and then Rob and I push her around. We lift her up and pretend she is flying as well. Why do we waste our money on toys?? The other night, she decided she was going to try to sleep in the basket. It was hilarious!
Coloring Eggs
We got together and colored eggs on Friday night. Rileigh had a great time, but made a HUGE mess. By the time we were done, she and I both had dyed hands! We were pretty impressed because this year Gookie even colored a few eggs. I can't ever remember him doing that. :-) Notice the pictures of Dustin and Gookie...they have the same expressions in both.
Cookout
Last weekend we had a cookout at my Aunt Brenda's house. It was a beautiful day so needless to say, Rileigh enjoyed being able to be outside. She was able to show her artistic skills by coloring with sidewalk chalk. I didn't think we would get her away from there. Rileigh has really started to love coloring in the last couple of weeks.

Hula Hoop
We had dinner at Nanny and Gookie's house this evening and Rileigh was learning how to use a Hula Hoop. She never quite understood, but she thought it was fun to stand in the middle and run with it. I guess it's a start. :-) We have been enjoying the beautiful weather the past few days and hope it is the true start to Spring.

Bike
A friend of mine from work gave me this bike for Rileigh. She can't quite reach the pedals yet, but she loves to play on it. When I am in the garage doing laundry, she gets on it. Tonight she started pushing herself backwards. It was too cute!
She had her 15 month check-up yesterday and it went really well. Rileigh now weighs 21lbs 6oz and is 30 2/8 inches long. She is still in the 70% for her height! The doctor was very impressed by how many words she is saying now. I also told him how well she can blow her nose and he said most 3 year olds can't even blow their noses. She is so advanced...LOL!!
For those of you who I haven't had a chance to talk to, Rileigh had her eye surgery on Feb 26. The surgery went very well and she has recovered nicely. Right now she is out of her glasses and it will be a wait and see game as to whether or not she needs them again. We go back in April to see her progress. Thanks for everyone's prayers!!

Slacker
So, I know I have been really terrible at updating the blog. Between a trip to Disney, stomach illnesses, Christmas, a black eye and pneumonia, it has been a crazy few months. I hope to get so pictures on here soon...both old and new ones. Overall we are all doing well. Rileigh started walking last weekend which is great. She is getting around great! Keep an eye out for the pictures.
