Check Out the Face!

Mom feed Rileigh a mix of pineapples and pears on Friday. She keep opening her mouth to eat more, however, she was making a terrible face. The only thing I can think is that it must have tasted very sour to her. These pictures cracked me up!!

Update on Rileigh

Well, Rileigh has finally started saying "Dada". Needless to say, Rob was very excited. Her vocabulary is now up to 5 words! She is changing everyday and growing so fast. She started crawling about two weeks ago and is getting into everything now. There is no such thing as keeping her still anymore and changing her diaper has become quite a challenge! She is starting to eat small bites of table food like crackers, mashed potatoes, bread, Oreos and of course popsicles (her favorite)! She can eat almost a whole popsicle by herself! Today she pulled herself up on her piano and walked around it, then she reached to grab her toy basket and walked over to it. She is going to be walking before we know it. We are still waiting on a tooth to come in! Even though she doesn't have any, it didn't stop her from biting into an Oreo cookie. She is a happy little girl and brings us lots of enjoyment!

Mom's Birthday

We celebrated Mom's birthday today even though her real birthday isn't until tomorrow. We had a cookout and a yummy filled cake from Costco. Mom enjoyed her presents! We had another nice day. Today is actually Rileigh's Grandpa's birthday. He was surprised with a new flat screen TV. We are sad we weren't there to celebrate with them, but hopefully we will make it up to PA soon. We hope you had a very happy birthday Bob!!

Taylor's Birthday

Yesterday was Taylor's 8th birthday! She had a party with her friends at Justice where they got their hair and makeup done, and got to do some modeling. Then in the evening, she had a family pool party back at their house. We had a great time and good weather. Luckily the rain held off! Taylor got lots of presents and a nice mountain bike from her mom and dad. She is going to start riding the trails with her dad. It's hard to believe she is 8!!

4th of July/Dad's Birthday

We had a great 4th of July this year. Since it is Dad's birthday, we hung out at Dawn and Jason's (even though they were out of town) and went swimming. We had a nice day and Dad got a lot of nice presents. Rileigh had a very cute 4th of July dress on (Thanks Nanny!).

Check out the cake that I made for Dad. I was pretty proud of myself. The candles were like sparklers and when they were lit, they shot off sparks!

Daisy

Check out the pictures of Rileigh hanging out with Daisy. She had a great time crawling all over the dog. Daisy is such a sweetheart! She has been through 3 babies and has taken the torture from them all. For such a big dog, she sure is a softie. The picture of Rileigh in the swing are from aunt Dawn's house. Dawn's mother-in-law bought the swing for Rileigh and Dawn's other niece Lily. This was Rieigh's first time in the swing and she loved it! The last picture was before swimming lessons. We got there a little early so we decided to stay in the car and enjoy the A/C. Rileigh was having a great time pretending to drive.

Big Girl

We had dinner over at mom and dad's tonight and Rileigh go to play in the back of her Gookie's truck. She thought she was hot stuff! She also took her first big girl bath in the tub without a baby tub. She did really well but towards the end she was trying to roll. I decided I better get her out at that point. As you can see, she was having a good time!

No More Worries

Well, we had the last of Rileigh's doctor's appointments this week. Yesterday she had her hearing test which she passed with no problems. This is something she will have to have done annually because the Albinism can have a long term affect on the hearing. Right now, her ears look great and she can hear just fine. Today we went to the Cardiologist and had a complete work up done. Rileigh was very good, but she was over it by the time we left. Her heart is in great shape which means she did not inherit any of my problems. Thank goodness for that. We do not have to go back to the cardiologist at all. She is weighing in at almost 18lbs and is 28 1/2 inches long. She is growing like a weed! Well, I will post more pictures soon. I just wanted to give a quick update on things.
